I hope somebody reads that wall of text because I sure can't handle it.

A few things, though.

1. Nobody cares that you go to a "top 5" school. It doesn't matter.

2. You say you didn't put any effort into your coursework. Blame that for your GPA, not your "mental illness."

3. You didn't give us any stats to work with.

In his defense, he attends a "top 5 (public) school," had an easy (and therefore boring) major, and also has a mental illness. 🙄
 
that and a dollar gets you a bag of chips.

Just about the only school who's name cuts you a break is Johns Hopkins. That school is notorious for serious grade deflation. Even then, you still need a good GPA (>3.4) to be competitive. For other schools, >3.6 is necessary to be on the right side of the admissions game.
 
I glanced over the post. I'd be surprised if this kid gets into medical school without a major attitude change. His posts are glowing with bitterness and immaturity.
