I didn't make it clear but I wanted to ask about my low verbal score not because I am applying this time (I'm not), but because there is a good chance I will get 6 again if I take the MCAT again in April. Then what should I do? Give it up? It really is difficult to improve verbal score, and it is very difficult to beat native speakers. Can you imagine taking the verbal section in Spanish or any other foreign language? Don't you think you would probably get 6 or even lower score?
Also, I took most of my science courses at one of the UCs. It is not a grade inflated school. I'm just not good at standardized tests probably because they are so reading intensive and I'm not a good or fast reader. Mid-term and final exams were not quite like that, and I did well in most of the classes. I even got As in most of my English classes, too!!! It doesn't seem fair to me that I cannot apply as disadvantaged status. If English is not your first language, it is a serious disadvantage. I did not come to U.S. until I was 18.
