Lower Score on Step 2 than Step 1

I am applying to IM with a good mix of competitive and mid tier programs. I scored 247 on step 1 and 234 on step 2. How much will the lower score impact my application? Any insights?

Not sure how it will affect you ability to GET interviews since your Step 1 is good, but it may be a topic of discussion during interviews. I would reflect on why CK was lower and come up with a reasonable explanation for why it happened.

I would not bring it up unless asked. If it is brought up, tell the truth, whatever you think the explanation may be. Then talk about how you grew from it somehow.
