hey guys,

i took the mcat on may 17th and didnt do as well as i wanted to (i bombed). my score was much lower than the scores i was getting in the aamc practice exams. my applications to allopathic and osteopathic schools are in but now that i know my mcat score, i am regretting sending them in when i did.

my question is, would it be possible to retake the mcat at any point in order to salvage my application or will i have to wait until the next cycle? thanks for the responses

I was a regular in the May 17 thread.

AAMC Avg: ~34
Actual: 26.

I ****ed up. I thought I did okay test day. Time for me to suck it up and realize that I have developed an anxiety towards the mcat; I never used to get nervous on test days in undergrad. I would regularly destroy exams (top 25 school). Oh well, I suck.

are you planning on retaking it? im considering taking it in november but im not too sure if that's the best idea
