Sounds like Luol Deng, who is an NBA all-star for the Chicago Bulls, got a pdph after an LP.

I'm sure an ER doc used a harpoon for the tap. Too bad anesthesia didn't get any props for placing the blood patch, could've been a bit of good press.

I wonder if NBA players have a higher risk of PDPH. Maybe the very tall height of the column of CSF forcing leakage through the dural hole makes headache more likely. That'd be a cool study.
