Hi All,

I am lucky to have received 2 acceptances. I didn't do academic updates because it won't be much improvement. I am currently doing 1 year combined M.S. program in Business and Engineering (not Biomedical so not Biology class but still considered science class) just for fun.

It turns out to be a lot of "fun" and I am struggling a little in the engineering part. I took 2 engineering courses and have already dropped one. The other one is also tough and I may be getting a C. The business part is alright. The worst I can expect is B-, and I think I can get at least B+.

Next semester I will be taking more engineering classes. The reason I didn't do so well this semester is due to lack of time input. Graduate level engineering turns out to be a lot harder than I expected.

I am wondering:
1. how much will my M.S. grade for engineering class matter?
2. Do I have to submit a updated transcript including my M.S. year before matriculation into dental school?
3. If I get a grade below C for this 1 engineering class, will it hurt my acceptance status?
4. Should I call schools that accepted me and ask or is this a bad idea?

Thank you for all your valuable inputs. Happy Holiday. 🙂

I guess this is a silly post...my best solution is to do the best for finals and see what happens...

Not a silly post, I just think none of us know enough about masters engineering program grades to know how a dental school will view your situation. Do your best on the finals and call the schools once you have your results.
