I received an undergraduate degree in a field outside of psychology but did minor in it. My GPA was low (around 3.0) with no research experience. I started a MS program in psychology (non clinical) with an independent research study and a master’s thesis but have decided I ultimately want to pursue a clinical PhD. My GRE score was high taking it with no prep so I’m sure with some effort I could have very high scores. I currently have a 4.0 in graduate school. I have four years of work experience in education, including volunteering with students with mental disabilities and mentoring students with mental health problems all while pursuing the masters. Is there anyway I could use my current track to get accepted into a clinical doctorate program at some point?
