so i am planning to submit my amcas within the next couple days. however, i am also moving to a new apartment at the end of august. so should i just put my current address now on amcas and then change in later once i actually moved? also, how long does it take for amcas to update each school about my address change? i dont wanna miss any mailings! thanks!

I changed my amcas address to my parents address and submitted. I will be moving in august as well.

If you are planning on doing loads of moving around, put down an address where you know mail can be delivered and checked for you. I was traveling and used my Mum's address even though I hadn't lived at home for years. It was pretty easy for her to check my mail and call me with good news. Worst case scenario, rent a mailbox and have your mail sent there if you can get to the mail box and check it regularly.

You don't want to risk the changes not getting through or mail that is caught "between the crack" that might have an important deadline. Just figure out an address where your mail can be checked daily (by you or another reliable person) and use that one. Changing addresses after submission can be troublesome as sometimes things get delayed. This is one time you don't want any delays. You have to meet and exceed every deadline.
