hey so my AMCAS has already been certified by I am moving into my new apartment next week. I know that I can change my mailing address on AMCAS. But if I do that, does it mean that I have to wait for another 4 weeks for AMCAS to process my application again?

I don't believe so. It's no different than updating your LOR's and then "re-submitting."

Make sure you also update schools to which you have sent secondaries.
