Hey guys im new to SDN this is my first post. 🙂 Just wondering about keeping up the GPA in increasingly harder courses. I had a good freshman GPA (3.9) in mostly science courses. I'm having doubts as to whether I can maintain that though. I'm starting to get into my 2000/3000 level classes as well as research/volunteering. Things just seem to be getting a little more hectic (but exciting). If anyone has any advice about STAYING motivated, as well as experience in my particular situation that would be cool. Thanks everyone.

Although the material may be more difficult in upper level courses, the grading is usually not as harsh, at least in my experience. Everyone says the intro sciences are weed out courses so if you've gotten past those you don't have to worry too much. Ochem is a 200 level but its still probably a weed out class. Anyhow, you have done better than your classmates your first year so what makes you think they will do better than you later on?

Like sixpence said, grading generally is not as hard or as black and white.

Also, by now you should be taking upper level classes of things you're actually interested in as opposed to things you're forced to take. That helped me a lot - being genuinely interested in the material and knowing I took the class by choice.
