major gpa dropping!

I just recently started my major upper divs in molecular, cell, developmental biology (mcdb)...and my gpa is dropping!! it's a competitive major, but I don't want to change it...tell me how much trouble this is for me please! i'm at a 3.5 right now...

You're down to a 3.5 from something higher? Or you're currently at a 3.5 and are about to drop?

Yeah, the major is tough... What'll help boost your GPA is if you take 104 early, and then get involved in research for the 190A-C series (at least, i think that's what they're numbered now...). Assuming you do well, you can get some sweet LORs and boost your GPA at the same time!
