My school has a bachelors degree's for Medical Laboratory Sciences, Community health education and one for food and nutrition science. If i major in any of these while completing the pre-med track. do you think my med-school chances are higher??

i don't believe so. it might help just a little bit, but it really seems like your major doesn't really affect med school chances. the importance is placed on math/science classes more than the actual chosen major

nowdays, science majors do not necessarily give you an edge; if anything, it is the other way around. I know many students that have english, music, german, etc majors, and they are as competitive if not more than the science majors. Its all preference now and also how you can handle the premed curriculum. Good luck

I don't think it matters. I would pick the one that interests you the most.😀 :luck:
