Hey guys....What is the relationship between a managed care organization and and HMO? Do managed care organization give different insurance plans or do HMO's do that? Thanks for all the help.

yeah managed care can have several categories. The most restrictive is your basic HMO. Where they allow you to see only those doctors that are within their system. Next is a PPO which is a litte more flexible in that they allow you to see doctors outside of their system but you just have to pay a higher deductible and percentage over a certain amount.
