Any 5th year students attend one of those mandatory meetings? They told us that our jobs were "stable" if we stay with them, which is a good thing because the job market does not have a "dieingggg need for pharmacists". Furthermore, our rates would be 49.50 in NYC and 2 dollars more in the Bronx. I was just wondering what they said to other interns from other states or in the same district.

5th year??

Do you mean P3 in a 2+4 program or something?

no,the OP means 5th year. the 5th in a 6 year program....probably at ACP, as that's how we describe ourselves, by year.

at CVS you are given credit for up to 2 years of undergrad. So if you are hired after 2-4 years of undergrad, but before you've actually started pharmacy school, you are a 2nd year intern. During your P1 year, you're a 3rd year intern, and as a P2 (to be) like myself, you're (I am) a 4th year intern.

So I imagine that the OP means a P2 going on P3 when he refers to a 5th year intern

and yeah, Market Shmarket, CVS is dyyyying for pharmacists

I don't know about NYC but here in California CVS is desperate for pharmacist to cover all the open shifts!
