i went back and reread the thread while ignoring a physiology lecture haha

as far as zenge, i’m not a fan of his early push on TME. everyone seemed to agree early on that TME has a tendency to wolf read zenge no matter his affiliation, so it just seemed a little retaliatory for zenge to vote TME.

First of all, my reason on TME was more than just retaliatory. I didn’t like her reads list.

Considering you have Dubz so high up in your own reads list, with the exception of me on TME’s list, it should bother you as well that Dubz was TME’s wolfiest read along with me.

So it seems that we’re in agreement about TME’s reads list being off, and at the time to me, seeming potentially wolf motivated.

So if you have Dubz as high as you do on your list and TME had them at the bottom, I’m not sure why I’m at the bottom of your list for pushing TME for a list that according to your own reads list, you agree was suspicious.

Furthermore, TME always wolf reads me, yes, but that includes as a wolf. He push of me, and AM reminded me a lot of RvB where she was a wolf and pushed both me and AM. Pushing me Dubz and AM is very much in Wolf!Timmy’s meta.

My reasoning was far more than “retaliatory”. I don’t vote to retaliate. I vote where I feel worst. I had my reasons. Reasons which, according to the comparisons of your reads list and where you have AM and Dubz, are reasons you should agree with.

All the same, TME’s list didn’t make sense to me. And clearly as the game as progressed a bit, it didn’t make any sense to you either. It was a bad list that I disagreed with. idk i feel weird for you to tell me its clear that the reads list didn't make any sense to me. i never really had much of an issue with it. i actually agreed with her that the cubs and true vote on violet felt off. i agreed that samac feels village. i even said that just posting a reads list so early in the game was something i wouldn't expect from wolf!TME, regardless of the content. yeah, i definitely had AM higher than she did, but i dont think as a day 1 villager TME was gonna have everything right. however, i dont think she was making any clear misinterpretations of the gamestate when those reads were posted.

Your <95% POE contains exactly zero people on Mel, so what's the rationale behind thinking this happened?

I am pretty sure I didn't have a POE at vote close. So if you are retroactively applying my POE from today with info from the flips to a decision I made before vote close, that is faulty analysis.

I didn't look at any one on Mel or TME's wagons. My reads were not good on anyone, so why would I trust anyone else's vote at that point? Why would I sheep anyone? But I did feel that if I stepped back and looked at the big picture, that a big swing off TME (once barks revealed) onto someone else that was not on the board seemed a bit manufactured.

so early on, cubs agreed with dubz's comment, even tho she later clarified it was a joke, and says zenge is bothering him slightly. then zenge pushes back on him a little, saying he should read his posts (fair), but later tells samac that she should be nervous about cubs backing her up. then zenge shares that he's reading cubs as neutral (the comment that says "same"). but then last night, zenge says he was in agreement with barks about cubs powervillaging. that's the shift i saw.

i will clarify to say i no longer believe that the push on TME was retaliatory based on what zenge has responded to me today with

I’m comparing your reads list to TME’s.
Having both Dubz and AM at the bottom, compared to you, who have them relatively high, should make you look at the list and go, “huh this is a weird list that I don’t agree with”.

If you don’t think it’s a weird list considering there are multiple players at polar opposite ends from your own list, then I don’t really know what to say to that…

yeah i guess im not giving you village points for voting mel in particular, but for recognizing that the two top vote getters at the time were probably village and trying to help a developing third wagon on another player (mel)

But why village points for avoiding two village wagons? A wolf could easily do that as well

It stood out to me because it struck me as a very not-wolfy thing to do. I feel like if someone had done this in BoWWling she would've started yelling at them in wolfchat. Maybe she's just trying something new in the hopes of getting village cleared but I have a hard time seeing it that way, so she's going in my village reads.

I guess I’m just not seeing it as her really offering herself up. What else was she supposed to say in response to Cubs asking if we should look at her next if fluff flips village?
