They are on here somewhere as excel sheets - don't remember where though, gonna have to search.

Also, where is the LMU-DCOM match list for 2011...I believe it was the first class to graduate?

It's on their website - they posted it as a news story back in the Summer if I recall.

Thats a really large number of people in general surgery. So how useful are these when assessing schools after you have been accepted to a few different ones?

On one hand I can see how it could be useful to see them successfully getting people into more competitive residencies but on the other hand isn't it possible that certain classes were just more interested in other family medicine ect? Thanks.

I think the take home message is that you have many other options as a DO other thean primary care.

You're right to assume that match lists are going to fluctuate depending on personal interests of the class. For a bunch of pre-meds used to laboratory write-ups people on here make some very specific conclusions about med school data.

Just because School A only had one student match to Dermatology and School B had six does not mean that School B is better than School A. It just means that School B had more people interested in Dermatology, most likely, than School A.

Match lists are interesting... but as a tool for gauging school quality I find them largely ineffective.
