Matched Advanced, Seeking Prelim/Transitional year

Hello all, I am from a reputable US Medical school in Chicago and have already matched to a PGY2 position in the area. Am seeking any open PGY1 prelim or transitional year programs. Was unable to SOAP into any prelim med, surg, or TY programs. Any help is greatly appreciated

You need to find your clinic dean asap. I know that residencyswap.org is out there but I don't know enough about the business to have an educated opinion on it. Good luck.

This year was the worst scramble experience ever I'm pretty sure. Something has to be done when AMGs are struggling to find rotating internships.

Just wanted to empathize. I'm also in the same situation.

Senior US MD student who matched PGY2 in PM&R (YAY!!!), but did not match a preliminary position in Main Match or SOAP. It's a nightmare of a situation. Hang in there!
