Math requirement - math studies

I know most MD schools require 1 year (2 sem) of college math. I took 1 semester of statistic. I have 3 credits (1 sem) of math studies - "Mathematics for Liberal Arts" from my IB exam. My school requires Trig (2cred/1sem) to take Gen Physics so I'm taking trig right now. My question is will MD schools accept the Math studies credit? Or would I need to take another math class since since the trig is only 2 credits? Or even if they don't accept the Math studies credits, would it still be ok since I will have 2 semesters of math (stats and trig)?
