I'm looking for a cheap yet decently comfortable bed. Since I will be done in a year and leaving, I dont want to spend too much. suggestions?

not sure if i want to do craigslist for a used bed..kinda weird.

you can purchase a great mattress at Costco for if you can find a way to transport it.

Use overstock.com. There are lots of great beds and they will be delivered to your door. Some assembly will be required. IKEA also delivers around the Boston area for $99 flat fee. Don't know if they have this policy at all IKEA's but it never hurts to ask.

You can get a nice twin mattress and either a boxspring or frame for under 200 at Ikea.

I personally had a used bag of hard springs with a cloth cover, bought for 30 bucks off of the previous room renter.

ikea. they roll most of their mattresses in plastic bags like rugs so its easy to transport. otherwise, just get a cheap air bed.
