I'm a non tradtional prospect with an MBA and 3.93 GPA and looking to study Medicine. I'm over 50 and wondering if it's possible to get into medical school without pre-med.

You have to have the basic pre-requs no matter what. If you have them and can take the MCAT then you don't need to go back and be pre-med. If you don't have them then you have to do pre-med post-bac no matter what. With a high gpa you can just do a self made program or try and apply to one of the 1 year formals with a linkage if you are really concerned about time.

1 year gen. chem w/ lab
1 year ochem
1 year physics w/ lab
1 year gen. bio w/ lab
1 year english (which i bet you already have)
some schools have other classes they require as well.. for instead ohio now requires anatomy.

I don't mean to be a Debbie downer here but have you considered what age you'll be when done with residency? I'm 28, will apply in 2 years, and get done with residency by 37 at the earliest. Ten years is more likely. It's never too late but keep it in mind.

How can you expect to survive medical school if you don't even have a basic foundation in the sciences? That's just plainly unreasonable.
