Suggestions??

I registered for the june 16th mcat back in April while finishing up my masters and due to the course load of my last semester I really wasn't able to put much effort into studying. With that said, since graduating in May I have really hit the studying hard and have maintained good scores on my practice tests but still feel as though I am not greatly prepared for the 16th as I have had a couple sub-30 scores and only about a month of solid studying.
As a result, I have been thinking of pushing back my date to July but the only available dates are the 28th and 29th. I have already submitted my amcas application. Furthermore, I have strong ec's....4 years of CNA work, 1 year research with NASA, 90 hrs shadowing, 25 hrs volunteer work, 3.5ish undergrad GPA with a strong upward trend/4.0 masters gpa, and great LOR's.

Will moving my date diminish my chances?

They generally dont usually look at your app until your mcat is in. So taking it a month later means your applying later.

Because my app will get processed and be ready and waiting for when my score arrives.

Correct.

But you will be applying in september pretty much. That's not on the early side of applications though. Your ECs are good, but unless your MCAT is incredible, I don't know if things will go your way.

Yeah, that is my biggest worry.

So, Take the mcat on the 16th and do alright and have my app verified or take it the 28th possibly add several points to my score, but be very late on getting verified. Im about to have a nervous breakdown I think, why can't they just make more dates in June!!

Don't rush things.

You need to give yourself time to study.

Applying later and getting a better score is better than applying early just because and submitting a sub par score.

You can submit scores up to a point during the application cycle as well if you retest after taking the first one.

Also depends on what stage you are in your studies, how much time you can put in per day, which section u need to improve on.

If it's VR, you will need time until you reach an epiphany.
If it's detail in sciences/concepts, that's just grinding which can be done.
