Are MCAT questions like the SAT, from easy to hard as the test progresses? And are the questions straightforward or tricky, like in some parts of other standardized tests?

All of the questions are of the same difficulty, and are generally pretty self-explanatory. I don't think I ever felt "tricked" by any of them.

All of the questions are not of the same difficulty. However, the questions do not progress from easy to difficult as they do on the SAT. If you want to see questions broken down into difficulty categories, buy the e-mcat exams online. I'm pretty sure that is one of the options.
