Hey everyone, I just took my first MCAT practice test from the AAMC, and scored a whopping 16 (6 PS, 4 VR :scared:, and 6 BS). This is my first MCAT practice.

I am 2 weeks into my Exam Krackers studying and hoping it really helps. I really need to work on VR. Just wanting to hear some encouragement and some people who have been in my shoes. God Bless! 😀

I totally wouldn't worry about it! You said that you just started studying, and that this was your first practice test (and therefore, likely the the first time you've seen MCAT-style questions), so you still have time to study and practice! Work hard and you'll do just fine! :luck:

This is why I refuse to take a practice test until after I've been studying haha. Don't worry about it, you're only 2 weeks into your EK. Give it some time and a ton of practice questions and you should see your scores move up. From what I've heard, focus on WHY you get specific problems wrong, rather than just notice your bad score and hitting the books again.

YOU STARTED!

That's the most important thing, and what really matters now is that you are on the road to improving.

Thanks everyone, I am glad I took the practice test so I can have a feel of how test day will be. I have figured out probably 90% of the MCAT (Based off this practice test) is simple concepts disguised in complicated wording. Thanks and I'll keep you posted, I plan on taking 1 practice test per month.
