My friend goes to a top 12 university and she is planning on spending her sophomore summer working in a research lab full time and the PI is expects a significant amount of time from her (possibly coming in on saturdays as well). Now she is a smart girl (3.9 Chemistry/ Biology double major) and she wants to take the MCAT in early september. I told her she would need more time to prepare but her research apparently only lasts for 8 weeks and begins mid June. She is planning on studying all summer leading up to the test. Do you guys think she could get like a 39-40 on it still?

She will be working in a research lab 40 hours a week, so she should still have time to study just fine.

Now, whether or not she gets a 39-40.....well, that might not just depend on how long she has to study.

Wait, why the hell are you on here asking about your friend?
