Hello everyone!

Just wondering - how far in advance should one register for the MCAT? Is 1 months too short notice and test centers will be filled? I am still debating between two test dates. Thanks so much!

the earlier the better, you don't want to risk the spots filling up. A month would be cutting it close IMO. I registered at least 3 months in advance.

You'll be hard pressed to find a seat that is one month away but it is possible if you check diligently (people will have cold feet around that time). You might not get an ideal location but it's quite possible to get somewhere. I personally had to drive 6 hours away to take my exam when I registered late. I live in SoCal though so the population density made it more difficult to find a seat.

In general, register 5-6 months in advance to get a good seat. Keep in mind that the last day to register is two weeks before the test date.
