If I were to retake the MCAT would my application be on hold until my second score gets in or would they still consider my first score? in other word is it possible to still get accepted with my first score with a pending second score.
Also if everyone doesn't mind are my stats good enough for DO schools:
3.46 cGPA
roughly 3.56 sGPA (I calculated it myself)
22M
** I have been reported to the office of student integrity during my junior year because i did not cite my homework** I have learned my lesson and was told that it was only a minor road block but not a big deal but it still bothers me...
2 years volunteering in a hospital in Peds, NICU, and escort 200+ hours
1 Year Neuroscience research
1 year and still ongoing research with zebrafish
50 hours volunteering in a free clinic conducting lab tests on patients as well as assisting doctors on other tests they need on patients
Conducted my own research and won an award for undergrad research recognition
3 years of club activities as president of a club... It was a club for campus diversity and learning about culture
I took a Summer medical program learning about medicine during my first year
Starting to volunteer at a needle exchange counsiling patients and also starting to volunteer in a hospital neuroscience lab
I have 2 science and 1 DO recommendation
My gpa shows a low first year and an increase all the way to my senior year except the last semester where is went down
I tutor on campus mostly introductory science, physics, math, and occasional upperdivision courses
I Have been working full time for about a year while going to school
I have also won an award for leadership on campus
I was also a co founder to the mixed martial arts club on campus for 1 year
Washington resident
And i think thats about it... any thoughts?... especially on that black mark -_-
