Hey guys,
I'm slightly confused as to how med schools look at an applicant who's rewriting his/her MCAT. I took the MCAT last year and ended up with a 30. I rewrote the MCAT again on July 12 and am still waiting for the results. So my question is split into two parts:
1) Some med schools haven't sent me the secondary application (eg. Mayo and I think Stanford) because they said that I have written on my AMCAS application that I am writing it on July 12. So they said that they are waiting for my new MCAT score to be released in order to send me the secondary application. Don't you guys think this is slightly unfair since most schools don't even screen for secondary applications? I'm worried that my application is now running late because of their policies.
2) I have a few secondary applications left to complete. When do you guys think would be considered a late application for schools on a rolling admissions basis?
