I am aware that the MCAT is graded on a curve in relation to other test takers.

But who are these test takers?
Is it a curve based on the results of that test date worldwide? or per region?

Basically will a person in the US and a person in China, both taking the test on the same date be graded on the same curve?

Thank you!! 🙂

You are unaware. The curve is pre-set. How you do compared to others doesn't affect your score.

Well in china it's completely different. A perfect score is a 58, the test is six days long, and they added a section called "interpretive dance" to the test. And you 2015 test takers thought you had it rough...

What is interpretive dance 😀 Some form of biological and physical coherence test 😕

okay but my question still applies. Is it pre-set the same for everyone who takes the test worldwide, or is it pre-set differently for test takes in different regions?
