Seriously- I'm not sure I can handle the stress of waiting for this MCAT score anymore. I'm driving myself insane!!

If someone came to me right now and was like, give me your kidney and I'll give you a 38 on the MCAT, I wouldn't even think about it. I would let them cut it out of me without anesthesia. I would even offer them part of my liver.

I'm just saying. This sucks. I just want my score, and I want it to be good.

Dear MCAT fairy, please bring me a good score and I will leave you a kidney under my pillow.
Love,
Me

Hell, who needs kidneys anyway? I'll give both of mine.

bargaining, i'm pretty sure that is one of the seven stages of grief. what comes next? acceptance?

i think i might still be harboring feelings of denial and anger too, so i'm all over the MCAT grief spectrum.

which one is alcohol? i'm on that stage for sure.

I probably would just create a much more difficult study regimen and keep my organs.

Id trade a kidney for a 43.

Not for a 38 though....

Id totally shave off my eyebrows for a year straight for a 38... or be forced to wear crocs. Actually maybe a 39 for the crocs.

If I were you, I'd save a few organs for the USMLE >_>

I am SO in the same position. But worse. It sounds like you have a reasonable hope that you did okay on the test. Me, not so much. Even though I was ranging 31 to 34 on the official practice tests, I think I did terribly on the real test, like in the 21 to 26 range. My health is seriously declining worrying about this and waiting for the bombshell to hit me. The thing that makes it extra annoying is the knowledge that the score was calculated by the computer the instant I hit the final submit button. The score is THERE, it's DONE, but they won't show it to us! The writing sample needs to be scored by a human being, so it's understandable that they can't show you the writing score immediately, but there's literally no good reason why they don't show us the numerical scores on the screen right after we hit the submit button. Why are they so cruel? I thought that the people in charge of this are supposed to be professionals in a caring profession. 🙁 😡

First, stop whining. Step back and relax. Most people think they bomb it and end up pretty close to their practice average.

Worry about things you can control. The score is done and will be here soon. You can always retake.

Step1 is going to freak you out because there is no retake. One and done!!

Just chill and worry about classes or something.

How about parturition? Would any of the girls here go through that for a good score?
