I got my MCAT scores in the fall and was satisfied with them so I am planning on applying this coming summer. When I look at my results page on AAMC it has a little option saying "release scores" or something of that nature. Do I have to click that button? I'm not exactly sure.

I logged into THx to find what you were looking at, and this is what the instructions pop-up window says:

Release scores to AMCAS ...

This option appears only if you have at least one set of MCAT scores that have not already been released to AMCAS. Scores from April 2003 and later are automatically released to AMCAS.

So no, you don't need to worry about it. That link will disappear sometime during your application cycle because the score will have been released.
