Hey guys,

I'm aiming for 515+ on the MCAT and I'm writing September 1st. Based on my practice tests, where do you guys think I stand?

TPR Demo: 124/125/124/127 = 500
AAMC FL1: 128/127/128/126 = 509
Next Step 1: 129/126/128/128 = 511
AAMC Sample: (using converter) ~ 129/128/129/129 = 515
Next Step 2: 127/128/128/129 = 512

I took the first two exams 1.5 months ago. The last three are relatively recent. My NS scores are the ones I'm a little worried about!

Third party test scores mean jack. Use them to identify your weaknesses and work on your strategies. AAMC FLs may be the best predictor, but even those do not accurately predict your score on a given day. There are just so many factors that could affect your performance. Rather than focusing on individual practice test scores, use them to help you identify your common mistakes and learn from them. Since you only have 1 month till your actual test, use this month to work on AAMC materials and learn how the test writers ask questions and what kind of answers they are looking for.

Also studying right now. I think your NS scores are pretty good is you're aiming at 515+. I wouldn't put too much stock in the converted FL score, my converted FL score was much higher than my AAMC 1 test and I took them about 1.5 weeks apart. Keep working and I'm sure you'll get it!

I agree with the other posters, your NS score is actually good. The third party exams always seem to be deflated or more difficult for whatever reason.

AAMC FL 2 is gonna be the real indicator for you. But yes with 4 weeks out I think you're in good shape to get your goal. Just be confident on test day!
