Hello all,
So I'm planning on taking the MCAT August 18th after studying all summer. My plan was to take an online Kaplan class and not really work at my summer job a whole lot so I can focus on studying. I was also hoping to get some clinical experience/shadowing in this summer as well. However, I'm signed up for a Biostatistics class (for two and a half weeks in July) that I would need to take next school year if I didn't this summer. It would be very beneficial to get it out of the way, especially as it is just short of 3 weeks compared to a whole semester of it during the school year! If my study window was from mid May to mid August, would it be a bad idea to take the Biostats class, as it may interfere with study time for the MCAT? I'm trying to decide this week, so I can drop the class if I decide I need to.
Thanks! 🙂

I think it depends on your ability and what your MCAT score goal is. Some people would recommend only MCAT for the next 4 months, some would encourage you to go for it and do it all. It also depends on your personality too. I think you have to consider what will work for you, and what you need to schedule to receive the score you want. Good luck 😀
