Who all's going to MCG? And who feels like they're completely in the dark about information?

I'm going to MCG too, atleast I'm hoping I am. I have no idea what is going on. I haven't gotten anything from them since my acceptance letter. Calling them doesn't seem to be helping much.

hey! I received a packet from MCG with tons of info on books, orientation, badges, parking, etc. 2 weeks ago. They sent the packet to the permanent address you had on AMCAS. Anyone know if they are still e-mailing us our bill? Anyone have an estimate of what it will be? Thanks!

I have been speaking with the finaid office off and on the last couple of weeks. I have not heard anything about emailing bills, but I have seen the finaid information on MCG PULSE and was told that they will take whatever the award was and first put that towards tuition. If there was any money left over, it would be cut to you in a check via mail (or you can have them direct deposit it by filling out the direct deposit form on PULSE). Like Septemberstar, I have received a letter with lots of info about orientation, books, etc. If you have not yet received it, you probably should call the office of admissions. Estimated cost of tuition can be seen on the FINAID website, but they are quoting it at $6218/semester for an in state student. The link below shows what that includes and the out of state estimate:

Hope this helps a little.

**the cost is estimated from last year**

hey guys, feel free to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions about books, classes, labs, etc. i'll be happy to help out where i can. congrats and i'm sure i'll see you outside the (newly renovated) classrooms this fall.
fyi, there is usually a used book, lab coat, dissection kit sale during orientation or on the first day of class. and don't buy a clemente dissector, you can have mine for a beer!
