Hi! I have been lucky enough to be accepted to both of these great schools, but I am having a hard time figuring out which school to go to. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

McGovern

Pros:
I really liked the feeling of the school and connected with the staff and students
Texas Medical Center seemed great
Dirt cheap tuition
My family lives in Houston, and I haven't really lived close to them in 6 years
Warm, humid, and sunny (the kind of weather I grew up in)

Cons:
Not as highly ranked as UW
Houston traffic
Huge class size
Only first semester is P/F (the rest are essentially graded)
My spouse will be far from family, who live in WA

UWSOM

Pros:
Also got a really good vibe from UW students and faculty (UW seemed more relaxed though)
Top 10 school
Tuition isn't bad (haven't received financial aid package yet, but I'm hoping for some need-based aid)
I have good friends in Seattle
Might want to stay on the west side for residency, and they have a pretty good match list with west side schools
My spouse's family lives in WA

Cons:
Rent is super expensive for the size of the apartments I'm used to (500-600 sqft)
Weather seems kinda gloomy
Tuition in 3rd/4th years is higher than first 2 years
Will be far from family for even longer
May be difficult to match into a Texas residency if I wanted to?

McGovern for the upsides. But I will say that both lists of "cons" seem pretty small in comparison to the "pros", AKA no wrong decision.
