Hi everyone, I applied this cycle for admission to DO and MD schools and I was wondering how you guys would think about my chances and whether or not I should apply again. I applied late for DO (only got verified last week and just sending out secondaries now) and haven't gotten any II for MDs, which I applied to in June/July for secondaries. I'm not particularly choosy about DO vs MD, my only concern is that I'll end up liking some weird specialty and not be able to get into a residency for it(Hi derm). So far I've liked anesthesiology and oncology but let's see how it changes.

AACOMAS cGPA: 3.32 (3.9 graduate, 3.2 undergrad) AACOMAS sGPA: 3.24(3.9 graduate, 3.2 undergrad)
AMCAS cGPA: 3.25 undergrad, 3.9 graduate AMCAS sGPA 2.87 undergraduate, 4.0 graduate. Currently taking enough classes to raise sGPA to 3.15 and cGPA to 3.3 with my expected grades.

GPA Trend: Very upward(from 2.2 first year to 3.9 for the 4th and 3.9 for both graduate years).
MCAT: 512(retaking in march) (129/129/128/126)
Undergrad: Bio-engineering, top 5 school(the one down south).
Graduate: Master's in Bio-engineering, same school.
State of Residence: Ohio

ECs:
Ton of research experience(3000-4000 hours). So far, one first name Nature publication, one first name low tier publication, two fifth author and one third author publication. Three manuscripts in progress, all first name.
Shadowing: ~400 with 4 different specialists, one FM, and one IM physicians, rec letter from specialist.
Clinical Volunteering: ~250 hours.
Nonclinical volunteering: ~200 hours.
Non-healthcare employment: 2000 hours.
TA for 3 classes: ~150 hours or so.
Leader in two clubs, one I founded and led until dissolution(the college made an official committee to replace it), other was leader for a year after being a member for three.
Numerous awards for design, innovation, and I have my name on a couple of patents.

You do not need to retake the MCAT. You should receive several DO interviews with OUHCOM the most likely. MD is unlikely due to your GPA but your good MCAT and EC's may attract attention at your state schools or perhaps 1 or 2 OOS schools.
