Hello pain world,

I was wondering if any current fellow or recent graduate can tell me about MDandersons pain fellowship. How would you compare this program with Texas Tech in Lubbock and the big east coast programs? What's the daily schedule of a fellow look like in regards to hours, workload, weekends, call, procedure days, etc.?

Do you feel like your one of the heavy interventional programs? And do you think being trained in a cancer institute limits any of your skills if you plan on going private and going solo?

Finally, what does it take to get a position in regards to competitiveness? Any advice on how to improve someone's chances if they are highly interested in this program?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
