I'm working on an intervention project and we'd like to include a measure to look at student's sense of self efficacy pre- and post-intervention. I'm having trouble finding other measures of various aspects of self-efficacy / empowerment that seem suited to this population. I've come across the Glasgow Social Self-Efficacy Scale, but does anyone know of any other self-efficacy measure that might be useful in this population, either self-report or informant-report?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

What sort of self-efficacy are you examining? Self-efficacy is situation-/task-specific. My emotion regulation self-efficacy might be pretty high (I believe I can keep myself from losing my cool), but my self-efficacy for long-distance running is low. Also my self-efficacy for identifying scents today is pretty low (I have a cold), but is high overall.

So in your case, is the question about self-efficacy for academic performance? Or maybe about accomplishing tasks of daily living?

There are lots of self-efficacy measures... they vary widely and measure many different types of self-efficacy. If you cannot find an appropriate measure, perhaps a single-item question will best capture what you want and be most appropriate for your subjects.

Have you looked at much related research to see what researchers in your area of interest have used?

I'd look into measures of self-determination, depending on what the intervention is focusing on and how old the participants are.
