Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, the most established test prep company in the business, is looking for energetic, intelligent teachers for our MCAT, PCAT, DAT, and OAT classes held at the Memphis Kaplan center. No previous teaching experience is necessary but applicants must have a passion for learning and a desire to help students succeed.
Medical, Pharmacy, Dental and Optometry students are all eligible to teach with us. Full time, part time and adjunct faculty are also encouraged to apply.
At Kaplan, we offer competitive pay rates beginning at $15 per hour*, flexible hours, comprehensive paid training, health insurance and opportunities to grow professionally within the company through cross-training to teach other tests.
Additionally, any Medical, Dental or Pharmacy student teaching 25 hours or more with Kaplan in a 12 month period qualifies for FREE preparation programs for USMLE, NBDE or NAPLEX.
Requirements to teach for Kaplan:
1) Teachers must have scored in the 90th percentile or above on the test they teach. Test results must be no more than 5 years old. If scores are older than 5 years or you have not yet taken the exam, Kaplan will administer a diagnostic exam to confirm score qualification.
2) Teachers should be great presenters, believers in the effectiveness of Kaplans methods, caring and compassionate mentors of students, and responsible employees.
