This was IndigoBoy0's idea, but I'm going to make this an official thread 🙂

Feel free to use this thread to link to blogs that you feel would be useful to medical students. Please leave just one post for each blog and do not re-post in here simply because the blog has an update; any promotion of a particular blog beyond the first in this thread will receive a warning.

Here are some that I enjoy:

http://drgrumpyinthehouse.blogspot.com/ - funny complaints

http://docsontheweb.blogspot.com/ - current ER docs

www.grahamazon.com/over/ - med student (old blog, complete)

If you are interested in supporting some blogs of members of studentdoctor.net, here is a thread containing some. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=833385

Also, I'm really bored so far this summer (and loving it), so if you're interested in supporting my blog (haha), here she be: http://partylikeamedstudent.blogspot.com/

http://smrt.posterous.com -- Students in Medicine for Resources in Technology, a student group I'm in at UNM. Frequent posts on med student-relevant tech tips. Mostly relevant to UNM students, but probably lots of helpful stuff for others.

http://www.n8henrie.com -- My blog with a mix of tech, medical, and med school life posts.

I think that the Old MD Girl Blog is one of the best. Especially if your a non-traditional student who needs to get some perspective on the fact that you're not alone.

It's written by a student that kicked off her MD/PhD training at 29. Since then she's gotten married and had a kid. Just goes to show that it can be done.

She's also had time to write this blog!

I've been writing mine for a while, it's mostly crass and about music. See below 😱

Wow. No offense but after reading your blog you seem like a mess: hyper-emotional and stuck on yourself. Reading your blog I thought you were a chick; but, your name suggests otherwise...

I think nursing school may been a better choice for a host of reasons.

Know there are a lot out there but thought I'd direct you to one more:

I am a pre-med student who just applied to medical school. I plan on continuing to blog throughout this journey to becoming a doctor. My blog is www.doctorsoftomorrow.wordpress.com. Be sure to leave any questions or comments you might have.

Thanks!

obviously you have been banned and have never attended med school so have no validity to comment on this.
