hate to bump but my own thread, but I am wondering what you all think

It would be nice to see an upward grade trend as you get into upper-level science classes. Currently your cGPA is a bit below the median for those accepted (3.65), but the MCAT score is fine. Certainly you have a chance now, but the higher you get your GPA, the better your chance at each school you apply to. Your ECs look fine so far. Are you planning to do research before you apply?

I live in North Carolina. But I will have 2 semesters of research in Australia for my study abroad but I didn't know if I could count that on my app..

Assuming the research will be mentored by a university faculty member, of course it will count.
