Med School for International Students

Hello~

This question is actually not for me but a friend of mine, who is an internationaly student. She is very interested in pursuing medicine, but wanted to find out how difficult it is for an international student to get into med school not necessarily MD/PhD. She is from Korea.
From what I know it is really really difficult, but I heard a few days ago it is a misnotion, but didnt' really get a good explanation why.
I posted this here instead of pre-med forum because I find this sxn much more helpful and friendly. Hehe. Thanks!
