Just picked up Dragon Age Inquisition, pretty cool game if you have a lot of time on your hands. What else is everyone playing right now?

For single player currently:

Fallout NV - ~5th full playthrough
Far Cry 3 - 1st playthrough
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II - 1st playthrough
Witcher II - 2nd playthrough

I just picked up Bioshock Infinite during the last Steam sale so that is on my todo list also.

For multiplayer currently:

CS:GO
Team Fortress II
Minecraft

Anyone thinking of getting ESO in June...? I was never big on PC gaming and I'm kind of skeptical on how good Elder Scrolls will be as an MMO on an Xbox One...

It certainly has my interest. I'm gonna wait to see what people say after it's been out for a bit though since Witcher 3 comes out late May and will take me forever to finish.

I'm thinking of buying it just to go on a binge before school starts in July.

How is it? I pre-ordered it but it's two day shipping so not getting it until Thursday... Extremely excited for it
I love it! It's pretty similar to the Dark Souls series in difficulty, but I personally enjoy it more. I've already died 10+ times, though.

I've got some buddies in pharmacy school who game quite a lot. Not sure how the time commitment between the two compare though.

Everyone is saying how big of a time commitment RPGs can be, but I feel like online FPS like halo and COD can be just as much of a time sink as RPGs like Skyrim. I don't know about online RPGs like WoW though, that seems to be in a league of it's own.

Personally, looking forward to the Witcher 3. GTA 5 added heists online recently which are pretty awesome. I'd love to play Bloodborne, damn PlayStation exclusive though. I loved the Dark Souls series

It probably depends on the individual. I know that I can fire up CS:GO or TF2 and play for an hour and call it quits. With an RPG, or a big Bethesda open world game, it is possible for me to lose track of time. I know on Fallout 3 and Oblivion, there were times that I played for like 4 hours and didn't even notice. It is not a problem if I set a timer or have a clock on the desk but still. The same thing happens with me and a good book, I start reading a little before bed, next time I look up its like 3 am...

As an ex-gamer addict, which brought my GPA down I've made the decision not to play video games while taking classes. (addicted to WoW, then Aion, then Rift, then LoL... list could go on probably)

Lately, I have been really craving to play N64 Zelda, Ocarina of time!!!!!!!! Such a good game.

Never liked sports games

@Azmah PC!

PC, BOOOOOO!!! Jk, my little bro bought it on PS4, I tried it, it was ok, not much to do but just build whatever you want, which is fun, but then it gets boring after a while. But thats just me.

Anyone else kept reading the title as "Med School gunners" every time?

I want to get ESO, especially since they won't charge console gamers $15 per month to play it now, but I don't want to get a game like that with school starting in July. Its suicide! Im sure the game will be amazing though, I still haven't finished Skyrim, I keep doing the side quests. They're too much fun.

Recently finished Dying light, now playing DBZ: Xenoverse. Ill play Advanced Warfare for a few minutes, but not addicted to it anymore. Also playing whatever free games are available on the PSN. I make sure to get my daily dose of Diablo 3 though, cant miss that. All on PS4. Ill probably wait to get dragon age since its not online.

My soul longs for Ocarina of Time - oh and for those who like this game, this video was hilarious. Shows you how to beat the entire game in 18 minutes. I think you'll get a kick out of it.

Not all but a large amount are. I have Mario Kart 64, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, and Pokemon Snap. Just the games I played as a kid. There's more, but I know it's not the entire N64 collection
I really want to get a Wii U. Do you know if they have mega man X 1, 2, and 3 in the online store?

If they don't you could always download the ZSNES emulator if you have any PC and play them on there. Kudos for liking Megaman, it was my favorite series of the late 80's early '90's on NES and SNES 🙂

My gf wants OoT on her WiiU. How do you download that?

It should just be available in the virtual console store. You can access it through the main menu or the store menu within the wii software (I call it the wii within the wii.) Sorry if that doesn't explain it very well. They should still have it (I just saw it in the virtual store a few weeks ago.)

Yep that did it! You had to go into the wii store. Thanks! 🙂

Has anyone here every played these games?

Two best PS1 games ever- no joke!!!
This is a megaman sequel where you're megaman and have to save your town constantly from being destroyed. You get to participate in building it back up and organizing which buildings go where and stuff plus it has a very WoW feeling to it. You can jump off buildings jetpack roller blades. Oh and like you'll see in this video. Sometimes you play the bad guy too 😉 You have to try it!!

Legend of Legaia is a standard RPG but the fighting system is amazing.

Remember all the SNES cartridges lining the aisles there. Going to Blockbuster as a kid was seriously like Christmas. Goodbye childhood memories- Redbox will never replace you.

Aw yeah. Big nostalgia here as SNES was the last time I owned a console. At the same time it makes me feel kind of old because I used to rent VHS movies there too...while I doing my pre-req's some kid looked at me like I had two heads when I mentioned that my movie collection included about 150 VHS cassettes .

Does anyone play Cities: Skylines?

I just got it the other day.

I love city building games. I saw that on Steam here a week or so ago and it looks great. It is on my list of things to keep an eye on if it goes on sale.

It's pretty good.

I don't have a big city builder background, but I got a good deal on G2A to try it. Pretty fun, even while just learning the basics.

A lot of the big sim streamers are playing it right now.

Apparently there's a big modding community for it, too.

This is by far my most favorite thread on this whole website

SDN really needs an off-topic section to foster this type of discussion.

Anyways, if I get in next cycle, I'll probably do another playthrough of the Mass Effect series one final time the summer before I leave.

There's always the lounge. But most of the time I forget that the forum even exists.
