I am thinking of doing an EMT-B course through NCTI (www.be-a-medic) - does anyone know anything good/bad about this course? I am a nursing student, and want to do an EMT course.

NCTI is affiliated with AMR. They do EMS education from FR through CCT-P. They have a standardized curriculum and good processes, i.e. if you have a problem there are standardized methods for getting help or complaining rather than just going to the instructor at a community college and being told "Tough." The quality if the individual course and instructors varies with location.
