I am trying to narrow down my list of places i am going to interview. Iapplied to way too many, can only afford to go to 12, and now have confirmed interview dates at 20+.

I thought I would really like this program, but I looked and saw the past three years they have been unfilled, and last year only matched 7/15.

The intern class however did not have very many residents from "weak" (read: caribbean and osteopathic) programs. I guess I am wondering what people have heard that makes people either rank this program so low, or what is wrong with their PD that makes such poor rank lists from their side.

Doesn't even have a good sounding acronym. "Yup, I go to Guzoomecog". Clearly that is the problem.

I know one resident there who I respect a lot and one who came from there to my medical school program, also amazing. I think, maybe, people just don't want to live there.
