Usually manufacturers of devices with batteries, such as pacemakers, spinal cord stimulators, deep brain stimulators, baclofen pumps, and other nerve stimulators want the devices back due to FDA device tracking requirements. And batteries shouldn't be incinerated because of environmental concerns. Please coordinate with clinical teams since the device manufacturer representatives may be present during device procedures.
