Medical School Application Update: Publication Website

Hi all--

I was recently notified a publication I am first author on has been accepted to a well-known Journal. My question to you all is whether or not I should send an update to all the medical schools I applied to now, notifying them my manuscript is accepted, or wait another month until the accepted manuscript is printed in the journal and searchable on pubmed? I was complete at a majority of schools mid August.

Thanks for your feedback. I just wanted to make sure it was appropriate to send a publication update without it actually being in press yet, although accepted by the journal.
