Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it's a topic that has gotten drowned out in the pre-allopatric forums. I'm interested in pursuing an MD, but with an emphasis on social justice. From what I've learned, many jesuit schools do have programs to accommodate this interest.
I was wondering how the climate is for women's health in jesuit medical schools. I have a history in women's health advocacy and involvement with family planning and pro-choice projects. This is very fundamental to my story, but I was wondering if this would be acceptable to jesuit schools? Once in medical school, I would also like to continue doing advocacy work in women's health.
Any help is appreciated!
P.S: This sub-forum has been very helpful for me in understanding what life is like for women medical students and physicians. So thank you for that!
