I never agreed with most of what the guy said, but hope he comes back.

..... venom was being sarcastic. It may have been a good school but I doubt it was Harvard. He is way under their stats

Yes he did. Removed them a few months back but his true stats were revealed long before that

Hahaha, I think MedPR is screwing with us....sneaky bastard.

When I checked earlier today, he was not accepted to Tufts and he had listed his DO acceptances as well, and had his accurate stats posted (33 and lowish gpa). He also had listed what I believe was his real acceptance. He's certainly reading this discussion and trolling us right now - changing his stats and moving his schools around. Nicely done.

Also I don't believe Rush has given out rejections yet, and he listed that he has been rejected from Rush. Just another thing to back up your theory. Yeah, he's screwing with us.

Also, he wouldn't have withdrawn from Loyola after being waitlisted, he loved that school.

He told his stats often. If he was screwing w us it was overly elaborate and months in the making. He posted on the DO underdog thread often AS a DO underdog.

Harvard would be shocking. Id actually be very surprised if he even applied to top ranked private MD schools.

that's right. those are his actual stats. his MCAT is very good, and his GPA is very low, i believe around 3.0-3.2.

so congrats to him for getting all those DO and MD acceptances, good for him.

What it means is that the schools listed aren't realistic which.... is why we looked it up in the first place

There's a poster on here who got into Yale with a 3.3, 38. I don't think it's impossible MedPR got into a really good school.

I am basing my assumption on a few things.

1) harvard is more selective than even Yale. So a 3.3/38 for yale does not equal a 3.1/33 for harvard. At least not on your average wednesday \
2) being aware of his posts for several months, I doubt he even applied there. I got the idea he applied to much more reasonable MD schools expecting to go DO. I also got the impression he was very happy with his MD school and that it wasnt necessarily low tier, but it wasnt exactly high tier either.

Maybe being URM will change all of this, but I am not just making a wild guess based on his stats. I am speaking based on months of post history as well. I could be wrong, but I think mine is a fairly educated guess and not speculation based off of a post by venom which was blatantly sarcastic. 👍

That's fine. I am still surprised it was there. He said a few weeks ago he wasnt telling anyone specifically because of the ACOM situation. I would bet whatever you saw was also fake. He was asked here right when he spilled the beans about it and at that time refused to say.

Like I said, I recognize that I could be wrong. But if so I will still be comfortable with the fact that I was able to recognize the inconsistencies and not immediately swallow the bait.
 
While the thread is still running, how many DO acronyms are there? Example: ACOM, AZCOM, PCOM, KCOM, DUCOM, CCOM etc. Are there any others that follow the pattern?

Can't decide what I'm more excited for, #TheReturn of D-Rose or The Return of MedPR.

I also suggest that we start using #TheReturn in our posts, referring to the day MedPR gets back on SDN.
As in, "This thread is epic. Waiting for MedPR to come back! #TheReturn"
