Would like to get this narrowed down to ~25 or so MD schools. Should I add any DO schools with my stats for safety?

Also, will my CARS score hold me back?

You could cut
USF ( Florida State School)
Rowan (NJ State School)

I'd add Dartmouth as well

The rest of your list seems good. You could narrow down by location preference

@Goro and @Faha would give you the best advice

I suggest:

ALL MI schools
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Albany
Gtown
GWU
U Miami
BU
Case
Hofstra
Pitt
Mayo
SLU
MCW
Rush
Loyla
Tulane
NYMC
Tufts
EVMS
Wake
Any DO school. I can't recommend Touro-NY, Nova, Wm Carey, LUCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide.

Appreciate the advice @Goro!

Out of curiosity - Obviously, the effects of the horrible events surrounding Nasser are hard to predict but do you think it will significantly hurt current and future MSUCOM students in the eyes of residency PD's?

I don't think it will hurt students, but it is a moral choice thing for someone deciding to apply there. Everything will depend upon how much the school's administration conspired to protect Nasser. Time will tell.
