Or is that the Foxhunter rule. I can't keep them straight. At least she wasn't king arthur.

That'd be the FH rule. The LIS rule revolves around not voting in multiple lynches - it's even more draconian than the FH rule.

Sigh.

And nyanko, in response to your continued suspicion on the government, we're are "forced" to complete our night action each night, or else it's RNG. Otherwise I wouldn't use it- it hasn't really proven to be a worthwhile role.

Kind of feeling the same way about it, there are so many opportunities for people to lie or warp the info that it doesn't end up being THAT helpful. Hasn't helped us catch a wolf yet..

I understand why players wouldn't want to send us the exact info and all, but it makes me suspicious of group leaders. I guess I can only assume they'd let us all know if the person that got seered is caught but honestly, they could be hiding that easily. Frustrating😡

Wait, why does that make you suspicious of group leaders? Are we your snitches? I have only been snitch once and said everything I could.

Wolfspeaker told me that group leaders are the snitches.

This kind of confuses me too. I have never been snitch, so I don't really know how it works. I thought you could have anyone be your snitch?

Also, if people are allowed to censor what they tell you, they might hold back because there is no guarantee that the FBI is good. You could all be wolves :scared:

I was told that when we ask for information, the group leader of the person we are interested in received the information and could decide what to share with us. So they could be omitting information or changing it. Obviously I've only been in FBI so I haven't ever been on the other end of the snitching thing. Is this consistent with what you've been told? (I can go back and triple check PMs to make sure.)

I understand that. I certainly wouldn't want to share everything with someone else. I was just pointing out that the wiggle room (presumably) lies at the point where the snitch can decide what to share with the FBI. The person who receives the information in the FBI can choose to share or not with their fellow FBI members (and Samoa has been the only one to outright ask for information) but I don't see why they'd try to get information on a fellow wolf just to have to hide it from the others.

The information we receive is pretty vague and thus not much use. I don't even know if it would say that the person was a wolf or not, since we haven't caught one yet.

They could be trying to get information about villagers that have important/useful roles though.

Absolutely, I don't deny that. But what I'm saying is that the group leaders choose what to share with the FBI. So they could say, "Oh Sally is a cabbage." When in fact Sally is a killer lima bean. I'm -assuming- that a group leader that acted as a snitch that got a PM from DocE saying Sally is a Wolf would say hey everyone, Sally is a wolf. But we don't know that for certain. We (in the FBI) only know what we're told. And the information I've received at least has been vague and useless to anyone, be they a villager or a wolf. I feel as though the snitch (the group leader) is the one who benefits from the whole process because they (I assumed) got the actual details of that person's role.

Yes, they get the actual role from DocE.

I feel like there hasn't been a whole lot of sharing in this game, and it's only hurting the villagers. The wolves probably know the information anyways. If you have information, share it with at least 1 other person so that it doesn't die with you. I know Trem had information, but as far as I know, she didn't share it with anyone and now it's gone.

The one time I was a snitch was for FFM. I was told that what I told the FBI had to be somewhat role related. Since I didn't get any role info from him, I just said I couldn't tell them what they wanted to know or something like that and then shared the firewall info with the thread.

Why the hell didn't someone tell me this?

Because nobody gets group explanations from the mod unless they're an original part of the group. And neither of my group mates explained this to me.

Thought that it had been explained, but as I can't see sent messages I can't confirm. I thought (the first night) we would get the exact role information, but DocE explained that is not the case.

Why did you think you were getting such bizzare results?

Samoa, how did you not know? You've been in FBI for over 3 nights now, right? Which means you have looked into someone yourself, already. (Only 1 person looks per night, usually in numerical order)

That might explain the huge fuss after I was the snitch for nohika. Samoa was likely the investigator for that one.

Yeah, I asked specifically how the snitch thing works, and it was explained that the new person goes first, then the others in turn. Very little else.

Way to collaborate, villagers.

Also, something worth noting, I don't know if the snitches really receive all the info. I got nohika's role description, but it nowhere said that they would survive lynch or wolf kills and could then communicate. So abilities are out probably.

:bang: So it's official: this role is about as useful as an umbrella with a big ass hole in it.

This is a Memebase morning news report, with your anchor SheepDog.

Thank you, and good morning to the denizens of the world wide web of porn! This is SDP with your morning news. As the citizens of the internet are still recovering from the devastating flooding effects of the chocolate rain storm a few days ago, they should consider switching from umbrella to parka and brace themselves, as a winter storm is coming. A cold front is an unknown number of days away from the mainland and it might prove to be very chilly for those with damaged homes. With more info on the matter, lets go to our meteorologist, Ned Stark.

After a few seconds of silent gesturing, everyone gets the point without another word being said and the camera cuts back to SDP who continues with the broadcast: Now in sad news. It appears that a local denizen of our fine community has passed tonight under some unusual circumstances. It appears that Foxhunter, having just brokered a peace agreement between the israeli and palestinian nations went out to celebrate the accomplishment by dancing the Maori Haka with a pacific island tribe.

maori-warriors.jpg

After doing the haka, foxhunter gave a brilliant performance of the Rachmaninov Piano Concerto no. 3.... on a xylophone. As the crowd rose to their feet in amazement at his brilliance, one woman went into labor. According to eyewitnesses Foxhunter proceeded to deliver the baby, cutting the cord with a Maori spear thrown from 50 yards. She was the talk of the party, including ones she wasn't at that night. As everyone cheered to her success they offered her the finest liquors on the island, but she opted for a Dos Equis. Again, according to eye witnesses when she drank the beer he began to choke and cough up blood. she fell to the ground and died moments later. Initially it was suspected that she may have been given a poisoned drink, but analysis of the dos equis showed that it wasnt poisoned, but rather was filled with pabst blue ribbon instead. It is suspected that FH's amazingly interesting body had an acute rejection reaction to the crappy beer and began to auto-lyse her own intestines in response.

The police are investigating for foul play, as no one would confuse dos equis for PBR.

FoxHunter, The Most Interesting Man In The World, who could escape any lynch and would seer anyone who tried to seer her, has been killed by skunked beer

It's always easier when you're dead

I have a major case of tunnel vision in this game.

I have no info for lunches right now, but will throw a vote out for myself as meme leader. Basically because I am sure there is at least one wolf in meme, and I know for a fact, it's not me.

*********elect packen*********

Off to sleep now.

lynch wildcatj

Any reasons why, or just trying to get a lynch in? I'm at a loss on who to lynch, but any information would be helpful. I'll probably just choose someone before I go to bed.

Well. I'm sure I'm next. The wolves are on a mission to take out Reddit. And with FH being a villager, I have no idea how the wolves know what Reddit can do. I'm completely lost as far as who to lynch. I'll be checking back.

Okay, checking back, there are three people still alive who know Reddit's full ability. Me, sheeps, and EC. We were all original Reddit members. I'm wondering if EC came back as a wolf? I don't know, maybe this is a crazy theory and I'm completely off base, but unless more info comes out, lynch EC.

I'm sure I won't be around much longer anyway.

Ok y'all, I got some info last night:

I was out walking when I came across two women discussing the killings lately. One says to the other "You know, I am pretty sure there are only 3 wolves left in the game"

the other woman replies "sure... but do you think they are out of conversions?"

The first woman replies "its tough to say. I guess yes and no."
